Teri Black, Staff Writer
Teri Black is an elusive creature. Her habitat consists of her room, the school, sometimes the Soap Co. Coffee Shop, and Barnes and Noble. For Teri, any place with books or journals is practically heaven. Her skills include but are not limited to the ability to step over cats without tripping in the dead of the night, as well as being able to eyeball the exact amount of water needed to cook ramen. Writing is as essential as air to Teri, and she writes just a little less than she breathes. In her free time Teri watches journal flip-through videos on Youtube, listens to old radio shows such as Cloak and Dagger, and switches between doing her German homework and trying to teach herself Russian. She has many interests; collecting antiques, practicing penmanship, and trying to learn languages are just a few. History is of great interest to Teri, and if you bring up the 1950’s or 1960’s, you will be sure to please her. As a self-appointed officer of the Grammar Police, Teri has a strange need to read comments on Youtube, sometimes spending an hour or more correcting the grammar in her head. As a proud Junior, Teri is still unsure of where life will take her, though she likes to imagine either the castles of Germany or the pristine white snow of Russia.
