I’m Maria Rubin de Celis. I am a senior and this is my first year writing for the Crimson J.  At JHS I am involved in Key Club, Student Government, Students for Christ, and NHS. Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family and friends, travel, and follow my favorite team, the Chicago Blackhawks. After high school, I plan to attend a four-year university and major in Global Studies. I am excited for the opportunity to write for the newspaper this year!
