My name is Kayla Dennis; I am 17 years old and a senior at JHS. I decided to take Journalism this year because it`s something new to me that I never even thought about doing before. I like looking at the big picture of things and trying to understand more than one side of a story. So, that should come in handy. This class will also help develop some skills that will be helpful in the future.

One of my biggest interests is psychology; I`ve been curious about how the mind works since grade school. I would like to major in psychology or social work and one day become an abuse counselor or a child psychologist. I plan on going to Mac Murray College, following behind a few generations of family who have graduated and worked in Mac, including my mom, who has graduated, and my sister who is currently attending. I`m hoping to get involved with Mac`s social work program and go from there.
