Crimson J

  • "The future belongs to those who prepare for it today." --Malcolm X
  • "Journalism allows its readers to witness history; fiction gives its readers an opportunity to live it." - John Hersey
  • "If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be."

Justin Schroeder, Staff Writer

Justin Schroeder was starstruck after learning he had his own page dedicated in the Burn Book. As the No. 1 “Mean Girls” fan, he felt as if Regina herself had finally acknowledged him. His sophomore year has yet to hit any bumps, but Justin himself is always on standby waiting for a juicy, gossip-filled scoop. As an aspiring writer himself, Justin plans to end his first year in Journalism throwing his worries on top of the burning pile, alongside the piles of work he will inevitably procrastinate on and not complete during the school year. As the photographer of his friend’s “wedding,” he already has experience in catching the most important moments to forever be seen. While his hateful photography era wasn’t his best, he enjoys a multitude of other things as well. You can find him jamming out to the “Barbie" movie soundtrack (“Barbie” ain’t nothing to play about after all), reading, releasing a pained yell as he gets executed in a video game and various other activities he does from time to time. While Justin isn’t into many sports, he’s been in a few of the theater productions and cannot wait until auditions come up for his next chance at stardom (Haha, FAT CHANCE). The Crimson J is fortunate to have Justin as well as his best friend Vigardie Kimana in their little circle of staff.
