Christopher Bauer, Staff Writer

My name is Christopher Bauer; I am sixteen years of age at the time of this writing and in my senior year of education at Jacksonville High School. I moved to this town almost five years ago from Jacksonville, Florida, about a thousand miles to the southeast, and have lived here since the beginning of my eighth grade year at Turner Junior High. I am currently unemployed; my hobbies include gaming, sleeping, eating unhealthy foods, and drawing pastel-colored, miniature cartoon horses.

I am a big fan of all manner of art, whether it be visual, literal, audial, or what have you – I joined the JHS Marching Crimsons drumline at the end of my sophomore year playing tenor quints, which I am still playing this year. I also like to spend some free time composing drum cadences at home. I also participate in the school’s drama program. (I have played multiple roles throughout JHS’s productions of Our Town and The High-Schooler’s Guide to the Galaxy, as well as a minor role and stagehand work in the musical Shout!) I fairly enjoy spending time on the stage. After graduating from JHS, I plan to go on to study architecture and design, presumably at a college or university of some variety.
