POST PROM INFO/ACTIVITIES 2016

POST PROM – @JHS AFTER DANCE FROM 12:00AM-5:00AM

  • COST – $5.00 PER PERSON
  • CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 11:30PM until 12:00
  • MUST STAY UNTIL 5:00AM TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZES…TONS OF PRIZES, INCLUDING AN IPAD!
  • STUDENTS MAY LEAVE IF A PARENT COMES AND SIGNS THEM OUT!
  • TICKETS MUST BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE…NO SALES AT THE DOOR!

 HUMAN FOOSBALL  1:00-1:30 AM

  • Students get into teams of 6. Teams will play 10 minute games in a single elimination tournament. Win tickets for chances at many prizes.
  • Five players work together trying to kick the soccer ball through the goal, all while trying to defend their goal as well.

RELAY RACES  2:00-2:45

  • Get your team of 6 together and try your chances at the first place prize of 10 additional ticket entries for each team member. All participants earn tickets.
  • Bobbing for Coins
    • Teams take turns retrieving coins in a tray filled with honey.
    • After getting a coin and returning it to their team, they must go to another tray filled with puffed cereal and retrieve a large paper clip to return to their team.
    • The first team to successfully complete the task wins.
  • Pass the Balloon
    • The goal of this relay race is to pass the balloon down the team’s row by gripping the balloon between the knees. No hands!
    • Every team member takes a turn and the team to complete passing the balloon to all players first is the winner.
  • Two-Player Balloon Run
    • Team members partner up and must place a balloon between the sides of their heads and travel back and forth through an obstacle.
    • The first team to complete the task is the winner.
  • Newspaper Press
    • Team members pair up and must race down and back with a newspaper page held between them without using their hands.
    • If a pair drops their newspaper page, they must return to the start line and begin again.
    • The first team to complete the task is the winner.
  • Peanut Challenge
    • Teams must stand in a line holding hands.
    • Ten peanuts are placed on a chair facing the front of the team and another chair faces the end of the team.
    • The goal is to transfer the peanuts down the line one at a time while hands remain clasped.
    • The first team to complete the task is the winner.

 SCAVENGER HUNT

  • Get your team of 4 together to race through JHS and find all the clues. The team with the most correct answers and is the first one done wins $100.00 INSTANTLY!
  • To start, two players run and hunt for one answer. After finding it, they write it down then  run back and tag the next two players who go looking for another answer.
  • The first team finished with the most answers correct wins $25 for each team member.

INFLATABLE ACTIVITIES

  • RADICAL RUSH ADRENALINE CHALLENGE: This obstacle course will definitely be the highlight of your night. Start at the rock wall and slide down the 25 foot slide. Then race through this obstacle to the finish line. This 80 foot beast will have you wore out in no time.
  • MEGA TWISTER: Get twisted up in the giant twister. The mat is 20′ wide x 20′ long and comes with a spinner to tell you what color and body part you need to put where.

  • JOUST: The Gladiator Joust includes two jousting poles with padded ends, two fighting pedestals and inflated safety landing which makes it fun when falling off pedestals.
