The Jacksonville J’ettes dance team is having a huge fundraiser. This year, the J’ettes have been selling tickets for the J’ette Cow Plop. Each purchased ticket can earn you a randomly picked square on a large grid. The Cow Plop will take place at the Jacksonville High School Bowl parking lot on September 26. This event will follow the JHS Homecoming parade. All proceeds will support the J’ettes in their upcoming season.
Now, what exactly is the J’ette Cow Plop? Basically, during this event, there will be a large, life-sized grid spread out across the Jacksonville High School Bowl parking lot. Each square on the grid will represent a purchased Cow Plop ticket. Wherever Sparkles the cow “plops,” that square’s ticket holder will take home the grand prize of $500! To determine which square belongs to whom, there will be a number written on each ticket that matches the square with that same number. At the end of the “plopping,” the winning square number will be announced. Afterwards, there will also be three additional drawings for $100 each! Attendance at the event is not required in order to win. Tickets are still being sold for the J’ette Cow Plop fundraiser. They can be purchased in the main office at JHS or from any local J’ette. Tickets are $10 each, 3 for $25, or 5 for $40. Tickets can be purchased online as well. http://www.eventbrite.com/e/jettes-cow-plop-tickets-11984153927
The J’ettes dance team has increased in size greatly. Now, with a whopping 25 girls on the squad, it is a huge transformation from eleven girls previously. The J’ette Cow Plop will help to fund the girls’ costumes for the upcoming competition season. The money raised will also go towards any fees and travel, as well as new uniforms.
