It’s almost that time of the year again. The time where every student stops and says, “wait, we’ve been learning what all year?” Final exams might be the most painful thing any high school student has to go through at the school. If you don’t keep track of your stuff throughout the semester many students will find that they don’t remember and have nothing to help them remember, many of the vital information that they will be seeing on the inevitable final.
However there are several tricks that can make this painful end to the semester maybe slightly more bearable, especially for those who haven’t had the experience of taking final exams before. Thanks to the Crimson Pride program as long as you remained red level throughout the semester you can use up to 3 exam exemptions. If you earn all 3 exemptions you can take your exam load down from 6 or 7 to 3 or 4. Also if you have PE as a class you can earn an exemption from that class by passing the presidential fitness tests that everyone in that class has to take anyway.
So now you’ve narrowed your exam load down to 2 or 3 final exams. That looks a lot better than the intimidating 7 exams you could be taking. However, because of new rule changes this year several AP classes are no longer allowing the use of exam exemptions of the final. These classes include senior English, AP Calculus, and a few others as well. So no matter how many exams you’re taking don’t forget to study hard for that last big grade of the semester. Make your finals week a stress free one!
