The weather is getting warmer which means that summer is quickly approaching, but are there ways to shake the summer fever for the last few weeks of school?
1. Remind yourself that if you keep your grades up, you’ll be satisfied to know your GPA didn’t fall just because you got lazy at the end of the year.
2. Study or do your homework outside. While doing so, take a few breaks to enjoy the fresh air.
3. Plan a study party with your friends where you aren’t allowed to goof off until AFTER all the work is done.
4. Don’t procrastinate! Getting your work done early will have you worrying about school less, and you won’t continue putting it off.
5. Give yourself incentives for when you finish your homework.
6. Think with the end in mind! Colleges everywhere will be looking at your transcripts so staying on track will show that you continue to persevere even when it’s difficult to focus.
7. Get ahead in classes! You’ll feel accomplished and have extra time to do other things. (Or to just lay on the couch eating chocolate.)
8. Stay organized. I always find that it’s really easy to get off track and stressed out if everything is out of place.
Follow these great tips and with all the free time you’ll have, it’ll feel like summer is just around the corner!
