As a senior, second semester brings a sort of closure to me because it means that soon I will be graduating high school. It also means that I will be taking my place in society and beginning my life as an adult.
Some people my age would find that thought completely frightening. Others are truly ready to take that next step in their lives.
Seniors at this time begin to get a nasty bug called senioritis. It causes many of us to not care about our school work and slack off.
What many don’t realize is that this is the most critical time for us because we planning to start the rest of our lives. Also haven’t graduated yet. I know that it may feel awful close, but we are are not quite there yet.
In my case I just want to finish my remaining months here at JHS with the best possible grades I can. I want to know that no matter what, I did my best. I know that sounds completely cheesy, but it’s the truth.
My plan is to finish second semester on a high note and not get into trouble. I’m looking forward to the future, and I can wait to graduate and start living my life to the fullest.
