November comes around, and everyone seems to participate in the 30 days of giving thanks. It’s a phenomenon that has spread like wild fire through social media. Every day of the month of November, people on social media sites, post what they are thankful for.
This time of year, everyone seems to be full of joy and happiness and just feel extra thankful. What am I thankful for, though? There are so many things, and I just have to sit and think. Friends, family, shelter to live under, the possibilities are endless.
I’ll start with my family. From the time I was born, until now, and in the future they’ve supported me through anything I’ve done and will choose to do. They’ve given me advice when I needed it, even if I didn’t always use it. Family is someone to turn to when you need them.
I’m also thankful for the friends I have in my life. I don’t have all the same ones that I had my freshman year, but the ones I have now are the greatest. When you look at it, friends really are people to be thankful for. They can hold the secrets that you can’t tell anyone else, and they support you through tough times. Don’t forget to thank them.
I’m thankful for everything I have today. Food, clothes, shelter and everything else I have. It means so much to me, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. So ask yourself, what are you thankful for?
