It’s that time of the year; the leaves are falling and the weather is cooling down. Everyone’s pulling out their jackets and getting ready for the cold early mornings of fall. The cool weather excites some and others not so much. Football games, bonfires, haunted houses, warm clothes it all comes back for a beautiful time of the year.
Finally opening my closet and seeing the collection of hoodies I have and knowing I can wear them again is one of the greatest feelings I get. I love being warm, so jeans and long sleeve shirts or sweatshirts are always the way to go. You can’t go wrong and you’re always comfortable.
Waking up to cooler air is one of the only down sides I can think of for fall. Summer just left and we are all used to waking up to warm air. So when you step outside into the cold, it feels like hundreds of pins and needles hitting you at once. It’s chilly, but you can’t let that make you sad!
Fall is a beautiful time! The leaves are changing colors, the sun is bright and shiny, little bits of frost of the tips of fallen leaves there’s always something to look at outside. I love decorating inside too, though. Putting up the pretty colors or fake pumpkins that sit as the center piece of the dining room table, and even the smell is fantastic. Between the colors, pumpkins, falling leaves, and scents, fall is just a joyful time.
I’d have to say my most favorite thing about fall is when everyone comes together. It could be with your family for Thanksgiving or with your school to watch the high school football team play football, but the feeling of being close to everyone around you for any reason at all just makes me feel excited.
