Halloween is the one holiday where it is officially okay to dress up as what your inner weirdo truly desires. Ghosts, monsters, princesses, doctors, and many more characters to imitate and be creative with.
There are many fun spooky things to do during the Halloween festivities, such as costume parties, haunted houses, trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving, and bonfires. My favorite part of Halloween is definitely the hay rides. I love the intense warm, scared feeling that someone is out to get me and the path could very well end soon while being cold, wrapped up in a blanket at the same time. It’s a very fun time to be huddled in the back of a trailer or wagon with ten or more people, sitting on hay, drinking hot chocolate, while screaming at the top of my lungs.
Another place where entertainment lies would be Six Flags in St. Louis. They have a few haunted areas within the park, roller coasters (as usual) and scary “monsters” following you around, scaring you beyond your limitations. Oktoberfest is definitely a night that most people around St. Louis try to spend the night around Six Flags.
Halloween is a holiday that everyone enjoys for the most part. I’d like to say that it is where people adapt fears of clowns, monsters, creatures, and what not. Anyone can be anything that they want to be, and most people tend to go all out, which is the whole part of the Halloween holiday!
