The final installment of the Night at the Museum is here with Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. This installment is probably the most thrilling and exciting installment of the trilogy. New characters are introduced, and old characters appear with a special dedication to the famous and talented late actors Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney.
The film, as mentioned before, has a new array of characters and cast to feature in this film. One of these characters is Sir Lancelot du Lac (Dan Stevens, A Walk Among the Tombstones). This character is as heroic as you can get, but his heroism can get in his way. Another character is Tilly (Rebel Wilson, Pitch Perfect). Tilly is that one night guard that shouldn’t be there but adds a whole lot of funny. Ahkmenrah’s parents make an appearance as well. Their names are Merenkahre (Ben Kingsley, Ender’s Game) and Shepseheret (Anjali Jay, Robin Hood).
The film also has some characters returning from previous films. Some of those characters include Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams, Mork and Mindy), Sacajawea (Mizuo Peck, A Case of You), Jedediah (Owen Wilson, Cars), Octavius (Steve Coogan, Despicable Me 2), and Dexter (Crystal the Monkey, We Bought a Zoo).
All characters, new and old, bring a sense of fun and family into this spectacular film. The common viewer will watch this film and laugh their butts off at this hilarious film which includes a cameo appearance of *drum beat* Huge Ackman… I mean Hugh Jackman! Watch this spectacular performance of a variety of characters and actors, and you will see that it is no secret that this film is amazing.
I would personally rate this film an 8.5/10. IMDb.com has an average rating of 6.6/10. I would also recommend this movie for viewing with the kids at the theater or at home.
