Horrible Bosses 2 stars Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Kevin Spacey. If you enjoyed Horrible Bosses, then you’ll find plenty of crass merriment in Horrible Bosses 2, an overlong but better-than-expected sequel which sees our clueless trio played by Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day exact revenge on the business shark, Christoph Waltz who destroys their new enterprise. It starts with them all tired of always answering to others, so Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) decide to start their own business. However, things don’t go as planned because of a slick investor, prompting the trio to pull off a harebrained and misguided kidnapping scheme. After demonstrating the prototype for an invention called the Shower Buddy, which was just a shower head that sprayed soap and water to make showers quicker, the guys attract the attention of Rex Hanson and his father, Bert. Bert invests in the trio’s product, then cancels the order and steals their idea. Now heavily in debt and with no legal recourse, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide to kidnap Rex and use the ransom money to pay off their loans.
I rated this movie a full five stars; it was ridiculously hilarious, had some emotional parts, and some bloopers at the end that showed you the real reactions to some of the things the people said on the set. If you’re looking for a funny, exciting, action movie, this one is completely perfect with all its features; also, if you enjoy some crude humor at times and awkward situations to watch, this the movie for you. It had me constantly laughing. It’s one of those movies you can’t even pause to take a bathroom or snack break. It’s so good and definitely worth the watch.
