The popular social media app Snapchat recently released its latest update on September 15, 2015 introducing fun, new features.  The app has dramatically changed the way its users can capture pictures and selfies creating a brand new name for itself in the social media world.

Any iPhone 5 or 6 user now has the opportunity to access the latest Snapchat update.  By adding fun lenses, the app has created a different way to use its camera feature.  These lenses add special effects that simply appear based on specific movements.  For example, an eyebrow raise can trigger the lens to add an effect like tears to make the user appear to be crying.  This brings many new opportunities for Snapchat users to experience a whole new Snapchat.  There are many lenses to choose from including a scary face effect, a mustache effect, etc.  These lenses change and get switched out every couple of days in order to provide new effects for its users to experience.  To access the lens feature on Snapchat, simply press and hold your face on the camera and the different options will appear on the bottom of the screen.

Snapchat has also included other features such as the Trophies feature which allows Snapchat users to be rewarded after completing specific actions within the app.  For example, receiving a Snapchat score of 10,000 will get the user a trophy.
