The final installment of The Hobbit trilogy has arrived in this thrilling movie directed by Peter Jackson. Many fans have been waiting for this conclusion since The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey had arrived and few were disappointed. The movie is one for the top charts with its excellent acting and stunning scenery with action-filled scenes that will keep viewers on their toes. The characters include all of the twelve dwarves: Bifur, Bombur, Bofur (James Nesbit, Gold), Fili (Dean O’Gorman, The Almighty Johnsons), Kili (Aidan Turner, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones), Ori, Dori, Oin, Gloin, Dwalin (Graham McTavish, Outlander), Balin (Ken Scott, The Missing), and Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage, Captain America: The First Avenger). Others of the company were also there including the burglar, Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman, The World’s End). Other characters that were introduced into the movie that weren’t in the book include Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly, Real Steel), the famous Legolas (Orlando Bloom, The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King), and Lady Galadriel (Cate Blanchet, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring). The movie has my personal rating of an 8.5/10. IMDb.com has an average rating of 7.7/10. The movie was great, but it had an insane amount of terrible CGI (Computer Generated Images) and too many characters that weren’t in the book.
