Draft Day, directed by Ivan Reitman, is a great new movie that hit the theaters in April. This exciting story is based on the Cleveland Browns, a franchise in the National Football League, during the 2014 NFL draft. Sonny Weaver, Jr., played by Kevin Costner, is the General Manager of the Cleveland Browns. The movie takes place on the day of the draft. Other NFL franchises that play a vital role in the movie are the Seattle Seahawks and the Jacksonville Jaguars. There are also three main college players whom the movie is based on; each of them is fictitious. Bo Callahan, played by Josh Pence, is supposedly the best draft prospect ever, but the Browns may have spotted a flaw in the great quarterback from Wisconsin. Another prospect is Ray Jennings, played by NFL running back Arian Foster. Jennings is a running back from Florida State. His father who is also his agent, played for the Browns. He is considered the hometown kid in Cleveland. The final prospect is Vontae Mack, played by Chadwick Boseman. Mack is an outside linebacker from Ohio State. He is high up on Sonny Weaver’s draft boards, but the fans and the rest of the organization would rather have Callahan or Jennings. Conflicting arguments between Weaver and the Browns head coach, played by Denis Leary, lead to Weaver making a big move in the draft. The Browns start with the seventh pick in the draft, but viewers watch as Weaver attains two top ten picks for Cleveland. Who will the Browns take with their two first-round picks?
