On Saturday November 30, a terrible tragedy took the life of actor Paul Walker, age 40 in a fiery car accident in Southern California. Paul Walker was well-known for his work in Varsity Blues and She’s All That opposite Freddie Prince, Jr. Although he’s best known for his work as Brian O’Connor in The Fast and the Furious franchise.
Paul Walker was in the middle of filming the latest installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast and Furious 7. The entire cast had taken a break from filming because of the holiday, and they were scheduled to return either Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
He went for a ride with his friend and financial partner Roger Rodas who was actually the one behind the wheel when the car crashed into a tree. The entire car went up in flames and both of them were killed. Even though people who witnessed the accident tried to help, it was too late.
All of his fans and many celebrities were devastated to hear about the news. A memorial was held for him at the crash site and dozens of people showed up to mourn him including his Fast and Furious 7 costar, Tyrese Gibson.
As for Fast and Furious 7, the creators and director are still trying to find a way to bring the proper ending to Paul Walker’s character, Brian O’Connor. His character was one of the biggest in the entire franchise and one of the most liked since its creation in 2001.
Paul Walker was a great actor who had many fans and who was loved by many of his fellow actors. The entertainment industry lost someone of great talent.
