After releasing three singles from the new album before releasing the entire album, All Time Low fans are sure to be full of excitement for the October 9th release date.
The album will have twelve tracks on it, including “The Reckless and the Brave,” “For Baltimore,” and their newest single, “Somewhere in Neverland” which was leaked and then released early on iTunes on September 18.
Some tracks will feature other alternative singers such as Cassadee Pope of Hey Monday, Anthony Raneri of Bayside, and Jason Vena of Acceptance.
When asked about the album’s title, Alex Gaskarth, the band’s lead singer said, “The record is called Don’t Panic. The theme behind the title is that we were in a very transitional period when we made this record, so it’s kind of a reminder to ourselves to just get through it and press on.”
In comparison to their previous albums, the band said it was more of a combination of all of them. It was made when the band was unsigned, so it is about as “All Time Low” as an All Time Low album can get. They also wanted to figure out what made their band special on their past records, so they chose sounds that reflected the best aspects of their previous hits.
Presale packages for Don’t Panic are available to order on their website and include a signed cd, posters, and a choice of t-shirt/sweatshirt depending on the package. About half of the packages are sold out so be sure to get yours soon!
Along with the release of Don’t Panic, the band also announced they were going on tour with The Summer Set, The Downtown Fiction, and Hit the Lights. They named this tour “The Rockshow at the End of the World.” Tickets are available for shows now.
