Nic Fox, Staff writer
Nic Fox is a 17- year-old senior who is also training to be a professional wrestler. Not the kind of wrestling seen on the mat at JHS, although those moves are included. Here’s the type of wrestling he means: in his last broiler room match, he was thrown through a door, bounced off of a fence and he finished the match by breaking a light tube over his opponent’s back (inserting a picture of this was not advised). He has a YouTube channel with his wrestling stable and wrestles most Friday nights in Springfield. He has been interested in wrestling since he was three and is also interested in baseball and basketball. He played JAB and Pony Colt baseball but decided to go with his love of performing and wrestling as a career path. He also works at McDonald’s after completing his online assignments, so feel free to stop by and say hi. Nic is interested in journalism in case of injury or retirement. Considering his love for being in front of a camera, his ability to remember sports stats, plus his deep love of sports, he has decided to pursue a degree in sports broadcasting and journalism.
