Maycee Hurt is a sixteen-year-old girl who can never stop laughing. She is a junior in high school and cannot wait to play her first doubles match on the Jacksonville High School girls' tennis team. Ever since she joined the team her sophomore year, Maycee has simply loved the sport, the team, and even the uniforms! Maycee spends most of her days cuddling with her cats: Sullivan, Callie, and Nacho, or her dog, Charlotte. She could definitely be described as an animal lover! Sometimes you may not even recognize Maycee because she’s had her hair six different colors! Her hair has sure been through a lot! Maycee hopes to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Although she doesn’t know exactly which hospital she wants to work in yet, she aspires to become a nurse in the NICU to help all of the adorable newborns. Maycee really enjoys writing and hopes to contribute tremendously to the Crimson J.
