Kaydance VanHyning is a girl who cannot for the life of her put all her attention into the full duration of a movie, but can be found rewatching every ‘’Twilight’’ movie to its full extent for the 100th time every week. Though only a sophomore in high school, her passion for writing is on fire, even if she overthinks everything she writes. Kaydance tends to find herself mastering language arts classes, and anything related to reading or writing, but if her math skills were being put to the test right now, that wouldn't go so well. She is the type of person that finds joy in the smallest of things, whether it be a random Wednesday night's sunset or going for a drive just to hit every red light the town has to offer. In her eyes, cats are a gift from God, especially her own two cats, Mack and Hamilton, who she’d probably spend every last dime of hers on if she could. She appreciates the art of music and loves to draw, but most importantly to her, she values friendship and family. This year, Kaydance decided to take her love for writing to a new level and sign up for journalism where she hopes to improve not only her skills but also gain knowledge on various topics. Overall, Kaydance VanHyning is excited to see what this year will bring and can't wait to continue to grow past what she thought possible.
