Bre Scott, Staff Writer

If you happen to be looking for a good musical, Bre Scott is your go-to person; she could talk for hours about her favorite musicals from a variety of genres. She fawns over most fiction novels: her favorite being the Percy Jackson series. Fun fact: there’s a musical on that too. She’s not saying these hobbies solely fuel her desire to become a book editor, but let’s be honest--they are. Despite having an “old person’s disease” (arthritis), Bre finds herself creating art and writing as much as possible. Since the school year is back in swing, her senior year will consist of missing her cat while she’s swimming 200 meters at swim practice. Her mornings, however, will contain various pitches of screeching as she practices her alto parts for the school’s Madrigal dinner. Because college expenses just might get the best of her, Bre plans on attending Lincoln Land Community College to get started on her English degree. While her journalism skills might be rusty, dusty, or not existent, Bre has been told by past English teachers that she can write a mean essay (despite the occasional procrastination), so she figured she’d enjoy journalism too.
