NBA players find new teams

After the NBA made its return, there was still some lingering drama surrounding the Houston rockets. James Harden, the Rockets star player, was very unhappy in their current situation and let everyone know about it.

After a loss to the Lakers, Harden let it be known that he did not believe in Houston at all saying, “We just aren’t good enough.” About a day later, Harden got what he wanted and was traded to the Brooklyn Nets to team up with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Harden’s former teammate Demarcus Cousins had a few words to say about Harden after what he said about the team, Cousins said that he just wanted accountability from Harden. The team was fed up with all the headlines and rumors about the Harden situation.

Now with Harden on a new team, fans will have to wait to see how the Rockets perform and how the Nets will perform as well. There are really only two sides as to how people think the Nets will work out. One side thinks they won’t work at all having three ball dominant players and only one ball to go around. The other side thinks no matter how much passing will go on three super stars would just be too hard to stop.

In Harden’s first game with the Nets,  he had a 30 point, triple double and the Nets looked unstoppable with Kevin Durant also having 42 points. Kyrie has been out for the past few weeks for personal reasons so fans have yet to see all three players play together.

LaMelo Ball, one of the most promising young players in the league, has had a great start to his rookie season. He became the youngest player in history to have a triple double and  it is looking like the Hornets could make it to the playoffs with the help of Ball and new acquisition Gordon Hayward. Ball hasn’t even been given the starting role yet and is still looking like the rookie of the year.
