On January 19, the Lady Crimsons basketball team went 1-3 in the Lincoln tournament. The team won against Lincoln, the home team, but lost to Taylorville, Rochester, and Chatham.
Senior Cydny Saxer pointed to fatigue as a main factor for the losses at Lincoln. “We only had eight girls that were healthy enough to play in the tournament, which meant that those of us that were healthy had to play more than we would have normally,” Saxer said.
The Lady Crimsons that were able to play played very well in the tournament. Saxer, Jaelyn Keene, and Olivia Kaufmann all scored double digits in each of the games.
The final home game for the season is Tuesday, January 29.
