Over the past four years here at JHS, I can honestly say I’ve had a very interesting experience. I can still remember walking into the front doors for freshman orientation and hearing Mr. McGiles telling us that these next four years could be the best or worst years of our lives; the choice was ours to make.
It’s strange that what he said stuck with me all this time, but it has because I know for a fact that it’s the truth. I may not have joined a ton of clubs or anything like that, but I did enjoy my time here at JHS.I made a lot of memories here, and I’ve learned a great deal from this school and my teachers. Don’t get me wrong, I have a huge case of senioritis just like every other senior here at school; I just hide it better.
My time here at JHS has helped to prepare me for college life and believe or not Mr. McGiles’s words will still hold true even when I leave JHS. In the end, remember this, you can survive high school and make it to college even when you think that it’s impossible.
“College is the reward for surviving high school. Most people have great fun stories from college and nightmare stories from high school.” Judd Apatow
