In many of the Marvel movies, there is an interlocking plot twist that many people were not aware of at all. Unless, of course, you are a comic book fan or you are a die-hard Marvel movie lover.
The plot twist involves the infamous, Infinity Gauntlet. It’s a glove with six stones attached to it and each stone has a different ability.
Time Gem– You gain complete control over time: past, present, and future. Also you gain complete control over all aspects of time.
Space Gem– The wearer can travel through space, mainly through teleportation. You can interfere with the motion of other objects. It also allows the user to exist in any location (or all locations), and move any object throughout the universe.
Soul Gem– It can observe, attack, steal, manipulate and alter souls, living or dead. The gem is the gateway to an idyllic, pocket-universe, can also bring the dead back into a primitive state of being.
Reality Gem– It also alters the user’s reality to whatever they wish
Power Gem– The gem gives the user an endless a power supply, can also boost the other gems powers, and lets any human become invincible.
Mind Gem-Limitless telepathic and telekinesis. Backed by the Power Gem, it is possible to access all minds in existence simultaneously
When all of these gems or Infinity Stones are brought together, they form the Gauntlet and the wearer is granted limitless power and is practically unstoppable.
In Marvel’s Thor, The Avenger’s and Captain America, viewers see the Tesseract; this is one of the stones. Also in Thor: The Dark World, the Aether is yet another one of the stones, and in the end credits viewers see the Collector saying, “One down, five to go.”
So it may be that only five of the six stones may be used in the Infinity Gauntlet. However, keep your eyes open in the upcoming Marvel film Guardians of the Galaxy because the orb is the third Infinity stone in the set of five.
