Marching Crimsons

One knows them by their red, white, and black uniforms, and they play the national anthem and our school song at the football games. It’s the Marching Crimsons! Their show this year is Elvis themed including the songs “You Ain’t Nothing but a Hound Dog,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “Jail House Rock,” and a few others.

The 2015 Marching Crimsons had their first competition on September 26 at Mt. Zion where they took 2nd place out of 13 bands that were competing. The Marching Crimsons hope to progress in their show as the season goes on and continue to improve.

The Marching Crimsons will not only be performing at competitions but also at our home football games, the pep rally, and our Homecoming parade in support of our school. The band will performing at the pep rally on October 1, and on October 2 they will be marching in the Homecoming parade and then at the Homecoming game.

The Marching Crimsons look forward to a great season and a great school year! Be sure to look for that red, white, and black uniform, and be sure to cheer them on in support of our school.
