Monday, March 5, was the 63rd Annual Kiwanis Pancake and Sausage Dinner. People from the surrounding area flocked to the McClelland Dining Hall on MacMurray’s campus.
The Kiwanis Annual Pancake and Sausage Dinner always brings a big crowd, and this year the dinner didn’t disappoint.
Many volunteers from the surrounding area, including high school sports teams and different organizations, helped prepare the McClelland Dining Hall for the thousands who came through. Jacksonville High’s softball team and football team members were among the many volunteers who helped set up.
The annual pancake and sausage dinner’s benefits goes to local charitable programs and scholarships that focus on the Jacksonville area’s children.
