Crimson J

  • "The future belongs to those who prepare for it today." --Malcolm X
  • "Journalism allows its readers to witness history; fiction gives its readers an opportunity to live it." - John Hersey
  • "If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be."

Steaming full speed ahead, Megan Evans takes on her senior year with every bit of power in her. This is her second year roaming the halls at JHS, and with the help of the amazing Mr. O’Neil’s continuous encouragement and support, her school days are a grand success! Outside of the Crimson halls, you can find her cheering a little too loudly at her younger sister’s sporting events or searching for ways to make a difference in the community. She cringes at scary movies but adores American Horror Story. If she had her choice, pasta would be served for every meal, even breakfast. Literature and writing have always inspired her, and with no clear path for her after high school career, Megan wishes volunteering and traveling abroad paid the bills. Raised by a sports crazy father, Remember the Titans and The Rookie rank highest on her favorite movies list. If she could adopt every baby elephant in the world, you better believe she would. With no fear of speaking about what she believes in, she is looking forward to everything her future in journalism holds.
