Crimson J

  • "The future belongs to those who prepare for it today." --Malcolm X
  • "Journalism allows its readers to witness history; fiction gives its readers an opportunity to live it." - John Hersey
  • "If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be."

Gracie Jackson, Staff Writer

Gracie Jackson is a senior at JHS. Her favorite activities include singing, playing on the varsity tennis team, and acting in school productions such as The Music Man, Pride and Prejudice, and The Theory of Relativity. On the weekends, you will either see Gracie working at Grandma Rudi’s or lying in bed watching Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix instead of completing her homework. After the 12th grade, Gracie plans on pursuing a career as an elementary school teacher, but she is uncertain about what college she will  be enrolling in. This is Gracie’s first year writing for the Crimson J, but she is anticipating all of the new writing skills she will learn in the process.
