Skylar Cambridge, staff writer

If she’s not on the tennis court or shopping, Skylar Cambridge is at home slaving away over homework or baking some delicious treat for her family and friends to eat. She’s always wanting to try new things, whether it's baking a cool new recipe for a gourmet cake or wanting to read a new genre of book. This 11th grader can be classified as a hard worker and a compassionate person who thrives off the inspiration of others, and she can often be caught quoting different lines of The Office and tormenting her two cats. Her plans after high school are wanting to major in psychology and hopefully travel the world. She’s infatuated with Italy and wants to try all the different pastas and maybe learn a little bit of the language so she can finally understand her favorite show, Baby, which if you didn’t guess now, is in Italian. Always procrastinating her chores by watching tennis reels of Serena Williams and playing the Sims 4 or re-watching Twilight for the 50th time, she loves just chilling at home and resting from a long day at school or tennis practice. Making people laugh from her amazing humor is her favorite thing to do, but most of the time she gets it confused with massive amounts of sarcasm which doesn’t always end very well. Whenever she goes outside she can’t help but take pictures of the sunset or just any beautiful thing in nature and then take about a million more to get the perfect one. Entering her first year of journalism, she’s excited to explore the many different topics to write about and hopefully make people laugh.
