Grayce Lillpop is your typical small town, big dreams kinda gal but with her, those seemingly “over ambitious dreams”...come true. She spends her free time traveling abroad, fulfilling her dreams and making them a reality. The future could sound scary because you know, just say it again, didn’t you twitch a lil’? That’s what I thought. But for Grayce’s future it’s a little bit different. She doesn’t have a solid plan like some other seniors seem to have conjured up. In the meanwhile, she is seeking that out, taking video production internships and taking a few pictures here and there. Photographs fill her camera roll and bedroom walls as she ages, while gaining sweet, sweet memories along the way. Family only makes the memorable times that much sweeter. Nothing like a big ol’ rambunctious group of Lillpops to create bittersweet moments with. Sports were never her thing and well…they still aren’t really “her thing” even to this day, BUT she wanted to try out tennis and she’s killin’ out on the court. With incredible friends by her side and role models straight ahead, she is set for a successful and fun season! You can always catch her at a meet which is listed on the Jacksonville High School homepage (plug, plug, plug). As her childhood starts to become a faint blur, she seems to carry on the traditions of her younger self by filling her evenings with Disney films and spending the occasional weekend down in Walt Disney World itself. That’s kinda a big deal now especially because she’s kind of created a business around her love for the theme parks and movies Disney has so wonderfully created. Not only does the saying go “Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust,” but her faith is something that drives her everyday activities. Her faith in God is something she believes in wholeheartedly and is something she prays will reach every nation and every tongue so that people will first hand see the incredible love of our Father and that He will be glorified through all that we do, how He is bringing us through our daily struggles and encouraging us constantly throughout our lives. She would love to talk with you about Him! He’s pretty great (okay, that’s an understatement: He’s awesome.) This is Grayce’s first and last year of being on staff here at the Crimson J, but she couldn’t be more thrilled to be taking on this senior year with an awesome crew by her side.
