Kelly Lu does not see numbers--this is not implying she is bad at math or that she has bad eyesight (although both are true), but it implies that when shopping, the price almost doesn’t exist. When she’s not at home intensely studying or reading/writing horror fiction, she’s very likely to be shopping in real life or on the internet. Buying clothes, shoes, and accessories are only a part of this wallet-killing hobby. The big enemy to her budget is her crazy obsession with stuffed animals, especially because she prefers foreign animal mascots- international shipping fees are not to be taken lightly. But again, some (many) items are too irresistible not to buy and thus the prices, sadly, fly over her head. This also reflects another hobby of hers: traveling. Although swimming in the glistening seas, discovering intriguing facts at historic sites, and seeing beautiful places is pretty fun--what Kelly gets excited for is walking through the malls and shops and wasting all her money. With a shelf of many, many books she hasn’t read yet, Kelly is a sophomore who dreams of becoming a writer of fiction as well as a nurse. She is looking to improve her writing skills and hopefully develop a concrete writing style in journalism.
