Kassidi Welch

Kassidi Welch, a senior at Jacksonville High School and 17 years of age, has always had a passion for writing. This is Welch’s first year taking Journalism, and she is ecstatic to be able to give you something to read about and maybe relate to. When Kassidi isn’t busy busting her butt in school to graduate, you can find her at home with her furry four-legged friend, Maizy. Kassidi is best known for having a very carefree spirit; don’t let her quietness deceive you because once you get to know her, she’ll never shut up. Kassidi always likes to remind people that loving you and being happy with yourself first is the key to life. When Welch graduates, she hopes to move down South to Florida, living on the beach and attending college at the University of West Florida. Being at the beach laid back attempting to get a tan is one of Kassidi’s favorite things to do. Welch thinks that being outdoors, out in nature helps her when she’s having a very stressful day, and she believes there is nothing better than to be out enjoying everything Mother Nature has to give.
