Crazy people on Black Friday

On Black Friday not one single person wants to miss the deals they’ve been waiting for. People go crazy over these deals that stores put out. It’s like businesses want to bring the crazy out of people. Everyone that goes out Thursday night and shops until Friday morning and then all day Friday has most definitely seen two people whether it’s women, men, or two kids fighting over the very last item of what they were wanting.

Last year on Black Friday, I started shopping at 8 o’clock Thursday night and went all night and didn’t quit until 1 or 2 o’clock in the afternoon Friday. I’m pretty sure I had been trampled a couple of times, pushed a lot, and hit a couple of times. After that shopping experience, I never wanted to go again. I can recall waiting in line outside of Victorias Secret at the mall and being pushed over and down on to the floor by three women behind me trying to cut everyone in line once the doors had opened. I had a bruise on my arm from getting stepped on.

Even after last year’s Black Friday horrible experience, I decided to go back for more this year and spent way too much money. This time I did not stay out all night or get trampled on, but I did see two fights and four men get carried out of a shoe store in cuffs because they tried to steal some shoes and got into it with the people that worked there, and now I’m broke.

Black Friday has positives like getting all your Christmas shopping done in one day, but it also has its negatives like all the crazy people that come out to shop and cause fights. I think Black Friday just has that weird effect on people and makes them go insane for all the Black Friday sales.
