Thankful

Mikaela Moorman, Staff Writer

November has always been a time to reflect on the past and things that we are thankful for in our lives. The days start to get more hectic getting ready for the holidays, memories of past days filling the mind, plans overflowing the weeks, spices hovering in the air, bright colorful leaves floating down from the trees, and being thankful for all that you have, even the small things is what makes the holiday season what it is.

This month brings its own hardships and its own upsides, but it has become a symbol of remembering what we are thankful for or the the things we should be thankful for. Family that are there, friends that continuously surprise me, a home that I can go to at the end of the day – these are just a few of the many things that I am thankful for.

Remembering the small things that on most days seems miniscule, but they’re not.
