Finals, graduation, and the parties are here. This year has been a bumpy one for some, a sad one for others, and maybe the best year yet for the rest. The end of a school year for high school isn’t like any other graduations or end of the year celebrations because moving on from a secure life with your family to being on your own is hard. The real world isn’t a great place, and you have to work for everything you need or want. The end of the year at high school allows you to look back and ask yourself, am I ready?
Friendships are a key part of high school, and another end of the year question pops up, did I make friends who will stay with me after high school? Relationships in high school are a key part of growing up and they are probably the most important relationships in your life because the people around you while you’re young make you the person that you are. The end of the year marks the end of some relationships and the start of others, as after school you tend not to see the same people every day as usual.
The best part of the end of the year is summer because summer is the most carefree a kid can be. Summer time is a time to kick back and relax, a time to truly appreciate being young. Summer makes school worth having to go through. Summer break is the most anticipated time of the year and the end of the school year is the beginning to this great time. Summer is here and the year is at an end, and looking back the friends are here and the year was good, so summer will be too.
