Many people have been talking about Apple’s latest gadget, the iPhone 6. While there are many videos to be found on this device’s new high tech capabilities, the general consensus is that it is too expensive to make up for the many design faults it has. Apple faces complaints from users that the iPhone 6 is pulling out hairs from customers’ facial hair and bending while in jean pockets or put under pressure. “Hairgate,” as social media users have christened it, has seen users across forums and Twitter complaining that the seam between the iPhone’s metal case and the glass traps and pulls out hairs from beards and heads. Both of which have been listed by Apple as a non-software or hardware related problem and do not prevent the customer from having optimal experience with their devices. Customers who have this phone will not be getting a refund or any kind of extended warranty if these hiccups become more serious problems later on in its usage.
Hector Lopez:
“When I’m talking on the phone, it pulls some of my facial hair, but nothing too serious.“
Matt Jackson:
“Yanks some hair here and there, but I’m still in love with my iPhone 6. I would trade it for nothing.”
Besides all the hype of “hairgate,” one feature that many iPhone fans wish they had with the iPhone 6 was the same waterproof casing as seen on devices such as the Galaxy S5 and the Xperia Z2. Though new cases are being released for the same effect, users are seeing Samsung, creators of the Galaxy phones, delivering on more innovations in the file and giving the consumer what they want from new phones. Many think it is time the mighty titan of iOS devices fell to a new brand and almost all eyes are on Samsung.
