Halloween is always a time for excitement, but the older you get the less it seems you are able to celebrate it. Emily Gordley says, “Halloween gives people a chance to be someone else for the day and let their true colors fly. A night for fantasy to rule.” The excitement little kids get when they get dressed up to go trick or treating, no one wants that to go away as they get older. There will always be some part of people that want to be excited like they were on Halloween as a kid. So, what can teenagers do since they don’t have the option of trick or treating?
Finding something to do shouldn’t be that hard with so many available options. Some options include handing out candy to trick or treaters, decorating your house, or playing bloodcurdling games with friends. At Six Flags each year, there is a Fright Night, which is similar to Halloween for all ages. You could also dress up and scare little kids or you could just stay at home and watch horror movies. Whether you want to go out or stay in, there is something for everyone on Halloween, even teenagers.
With so many things to do on Halloween and the all the excitement and fun, sitting still on the night seems nearly impossible. I hope you have a fun-filled night that will be unforgettable
