We as a human race are always surrounded by some kind of technology. Whether it’s a cellphone, TV or whatever, we are completely surrounded by something.
That technology has caused us to fall out of the habit of talking with other humans face to face, and we talk with them over cyberspace instead. This way of communication has become more and more common for us, and it’s becoming a little bit scary.
Nowadays we’ve become so consumed with all of the different technology that some people have forgotten how to talk to a person without texting or emailing them. Hardly anyone takes the time to sit down and write an old fashion letter, and send it.
We’ve become that warped as a society that we can’t even do that little thing. Also, our schools want to take out cursive writing, and try to replace it with texting 101.
Our world has become so technological based that we’ve forgotten how to function properly without. If we look to the past, our ancestors managed to get along without the Internet and computers and all this other stuff.
The past is what helps us remember who we are, and it keeps us from turning into technology zombies. I’m not saying that you need to live in the past, but what I am saying is look into the past and never forget it.
“Study the past if you would define the future.” -Confucius
