The attack at the House of Parliment occurring recently is still under investigation. Not all details of the attacker are known; however, there have been updates confirming some speculations.

So far it has been established that a total of five people have died from the incident. Within this group, an officer and the attacker himself, Khalid Masood age 52, were killed. Masood has been reported to have driven a car straight into a group of pedestrians on Westminster Bridge instantly killing two of the people. This incident occurred right before Masood’s attempt to enter the parliament armed with two knives. During this scene, Masood allegedly stabbed an unarmed officer, P.C. Keith Palmer age 48, who later died from the injuries. Masood was then shot and killed.

According to police, Masood had been guilty for previous assaults. However, the Islamic State has declared responsibility for his attack. This claim is unverified. So far there has been no evidence to suggest any further attacks planned.
