Friday the 13th: A day of bad luck

Friday the 13th has become a widespread known fear and a day of bad luck; however, it is unclear why it has become such a feared day. Some historians believe that the superstition started in the late 1900s, but there are those that think it originates from Biblical times.

Even though the origin is uncertain, people still tremble at the thought of the day and it sends them back to bed waiting for the next day. There are beliefs that people will have bad luck on the day or that an accident will happen. Crazy myths and superstitions about Friday the 13th have spread for years, although some take entertainment in it.

Friday the 13th, a horror film franchise that is set on the day, has been out since the 1980s and still has been popular among horror movie fans. Fans often celebrate the day instead of hiding from it.
