The world was never hit with a giant meteor, instead man and dinosaurs roam the earth together in The Good Dinosaur. The main character Arlo, an apatosaurus the long necked dinosaurs that usually eat leaves of the tops of trees in the Jurassic movies,  gets lost in a storm and is separated from his family. In a desperate attempt to get back to his family, he starts on a journey to get back home.

Released  November 25, The Good Dinosaur has the potential to be both a good family movie night and a simple movie to watch. This animated film has the qualities to be a good child’s movie and also something parents will enjoy. The small details and scenes that touch at the feeling of family are what make this movie special.
