The Avengers: Age of Ultron is the sequel of the first movie. It has just recently come out on DVD. The Avengers consist of six heroes: Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Hawk-Eye and Black Widow.

The movie starts off doing what The Avengers normally do when they are together, which is fighting crime. Later after the intro is over Iron Man is trying to create a real and moving AI, or artificial intelligence, called Ultron. Some things go wrong in this process and Ultron now wants to save the world in the way he thinks best, which is destroying The Avengers. The plot is centered on The Avengers trying to fix what Iron Man has done.

The movie has gotten a ton of good reviews. It scored 7.7/10 on IMDb, a 74% on Rotten Tomatoes and 66% on Metacritic. For a personal review, I think the movie was really good. The middle of the movie started to get a little boring, but it picked up with the comedy and action scenes. Even though the movie was great, I personally think the first one was better.

On the number of sales the movie is another success just like the first one. The movie has reached 1.4 billion dollars in theatrical sales. On DVD, it has currently reached 29 million dollars in sales. Since it has only been out for a few weeks, the number is very good. Even though these numbers are high, it has not beaten the first movie’s numbers. The first Avengers movie achieved 1.5 billion dollars in theatrical sales and on DVD has achieved 227 million dollars. It is a close number, but it does not beat the first movie. The production budget of the movie was 250 million dollars while the first movie had a budget of 220 million.
